The Cure for Dogma

05/26/2013 by Barry Leave a Comment

As you may have read in my book, my journey to Practical Buddhism began by asking questions.

I dared to ask how I felt, what I believed, and ultimately…whether belief itself was a necessity.

After spending an eternity inside religious institutions that didn’t react positively to inquiry of this kind, I left altogether and consulted the ultimate resource on what worked and didn’t work in my life. Me.

According to one my favorite digital philosophers, Danielle LaPorte,

‘The cure for dogma is questions.”  -Truthbomb #197
