What happened to that?
You’ve probably known for some time that you’re no longer engaged at work. The excitement you had at the beginning of your career is missing. The job doesn’t feel like it used to. Maybe the organization has gone through some reorganizations and your new environment has left you feeling disjointed or out of place. For some reason -and there are probably several- you no longer look forward to showing up at the office.
It’s frustrating to you and, most likely, to your team as well. They may have already noticed a change.
Naturally, that only adds to your stress.
And what about your boss? Does he/she recognize your lack of engagement? Has HR contacted you for a chat?
Trust me, you don’t want your situation to progress to this point
For all the good work they do, talking to HR about this situation is like talking to the IRS. You should assume that everything you ever say to HR is recorded and noted in a file somewhere deep in the depths of Mordor.
Even though you feel like it, you know that quitting isn’t the solution, but doing nothing isn’t an option either.
Something has to shift, and soon.
There’s where I can help you.
Reboot, Reconnect & Re-Engage is my introductory coaching program for uncovering the root issues you’re facing and designing a clear and focused approach to re-engaging with your work once more.
In our 9 bi-weekly 60-minute coaching sessions, we’ll get to the root causes of your current relationship with work and formulate a healthier and more mindful approach to your job, examine your overall fit within the organization, and reconnect with your sense of mission.
Among the topics we’ll cover and work through are:
R – we begin with the rediscovery of your sense of mission. We’ll work through my process for discovering your most meaningful work (MMW). Your MMW is the type of work your DNA wires you do better than any other and feeds your sense of mission. It’s the answer the existential question, ‘Why am I here?’.
E – we’ll examine and evaluate the root causes you uncover. We’ll examine these issues and evaluate how can we use this information to better position you for success.
B – you’ll learn how a simple and easy-to-implement mindfulness focus on your breath can soften the triggers that often result in automatic reactions. You’ll learn how this practice can increase the space between stimulus and response, and exercising choice where you previously might not have.
O – we’ll evaluate your organizational fit and evaluate whether or not this is an overriding issue impacting your engagement at work.
O – together, we’ll design an overall plan, a holistic approach for re-engaging with your job. When you have a plan that feels like a good fit, it’s easier to engineer a better fit within the organization.
T – moving forward together – as our coaching program concludes, you won’t be alone. You’ll have two sessions of follow-up in the next 30-days following our sessions for questions, clarification, and advice. If necessary, we can schedule some follow-up sessions to fine tune things as your situation unfolds.
Of course, that’s just the backdrop. Together we’ll work through a concrete, logical process to arrive at the place where you decide if the the best steps forward include remaining at your current job with a renewed sense of reconnection and re-engagement, or whether moving on to another phase of your career is appropriate.
Ideally, the Reboot, Reconnect, Re-Engage program consists of 6-9 bi-weekly sessions of 60-minutes each. My coaching fees are $175/hour payable after each session.
For new clients, I recommend a free 30-minute Exploratory Session to start off with to see if you meet my new-client requirements. But I only have room for a few of these slots per week. Details are here.
Isn’t it time you regained your focus and gained clarity around your next steps?
Everyone has a unique situation with an equally unique set of goals, dreams, and pivot points.
Although outcomes differ for each client, what I can promise you is that you’ll gain a sense of clarity around your mission, your MMW, your career, and goals for the future.
